Petrzhela advised Zobnin to move from Spartak to Zenit
Former Zenit head coach Vlastimil Petrzhela believes that Spartak midfielder Roman Zobnin needs a new challenge in his career.
– Zobnin needs to change the club. In Spartak, his story is completed. Management does not want to keep such an expensive player who has lost motivation. Unfortunately, after that terrible mistake at the Euro, he broke down psychologically.
Zobnin needs a new challenge. Let him move from Spartak to Zenit – there he can feel like a real football player. But you will have to prove your strength again, because the competition at Zenit is very high, Sport24 quotes Petrzhela.
Zobnin has been playing for Spartak since 2016. The 28-year-old midfielder made 32 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
