Lokomotiv announced that Zhemaletdinov will not help the team in 2022 due to an injury

Lokomotiv midfielder Rifat Zhemaletdinov has been out for a period of seven to nine months due to an injury sustained at the training camp of the Moscow club, according to the website of the railwaymen.
According to the results of a comprehensive medical examination and MRI, the midfielder of the Russian national team confirmed a serious injury to the Achilles tendon. In the near future, the 25-year-old footballer will have an operation.
Zhemaletdinov has been playing for Lokomotiv since 2018. Last season he made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring nine goals.
