Completely unmotivated aggression of the Russian striker.
The transition of Artyom Dziuba to Fenerbahce looks more and more real. Rumor has it that the striker has already been offered a very solid contract, and he is about to sign an agreement with a new team. However, Dziuba’s last meeting with Fenerbahce ended in a scandal.
Artyom then quarreled with journalists who tried to communicate with him after the match, and fled. The funniest thing is that this was done after the victory over the Turks.
Completely unmotivated aggression!
Gave the penalty to Mack
In the 2018/19 season, Zenit participated in the Europa League and advanced to the spring part of the tournament. The opponent of the team of Sergei Semak in the 1/16 finals was Fenerbahce. The first match was to be held on the road, and even after a long winter break.
In the course of the meeting, Zenit really looked rather sluggish. Dziuba was no exception. For the most part, he stood alone in the attack line and rarely worked out in defense. At the same time, Artyom still had a chance to excel. Towards the end of the first half, Zenit got the right to a penalty. It seemed that a full-time penalty taker should come to the point, but for some reason Dziuba lost his indisputable right to Robert Mack. And the Slovak could not beat the goalkeeper. As a result, Zenit lost with a score of 0:1.
After the match, many experts were indignant: how was this most important penalty kick given not to the team leader, but to the rotation player? It turned out that Mack himself asked Dzyuba to give up the penalty, and he had nothing against it. True, it must be admitted that Zenit was scolded not only for the missed scoring opportunity, but also simply for the paucity of thought in the attack.
Dzyuba is angry
The return match was completely different. Zenit took the lead already in the 4th minute, but the teams went to the break with the score 2:1 in favor of St. Petersburg, which did not suit them. The away goal rule still worked then, and a goal scored in a foreign field would send Fenerbahce to the 1/8 finals.
15 minutes before the end of the match, Zenit managed a quick counterattack. Dzyuba gave to Azmun, he beat the defender and went one on one. The goalkeeper did not become a problem for the Iranian. Zenit secured the next round of the Europa League.
It would seem, rejoice and forget all grievances. But Dziuba is not one of those who forgive “haters”. After the match, Artyom ran into journalists, recalling to them all the words that they had said about Zenit over the previous week. The reporters wanted only a post-match commentary, but received a tough and concise rebuke.
“You are all watering us, watering us. Goodbye, – the correspondent of “Match TV” Elena Mikheeva conveyed the words of Artyom.
Dzyuba spoke in his signature style even when it made no sense to be afraid of any provocations from the press. Apparently, he himself was dissatisfied with his game in the first match, and therefore reacted to criticism so painfully. However, from a reporter’s point of view, such an attack by Artyom was even more interesting than the on-duty commentary.
Perhaps this is exactly what Dzyuba was trying to achieve. Everyone knows how much he loves attention to his person and how great he is at converting negative energy into goals. I would like to believe that this skill will help him in Turkey. But first you need to sign a contract.
