The new Spartak coach turns into Cherchesov. Players will have to watch the language!

The specialist introduced a severe ban on the lesson.

Guillermo Abascal may seem like an ordinary European darling, from whom you expect nothing but polite smiles and on-duty phrases. However, from the first training sessions, the Spaniard shows that he can be really tough and demanding. In a sense, the new Spartak coach even imitates Stanislav Cherchesov himself.

At one of the recent training sessions, Abascal proved himself to be a true “democratic dictator”. The Spaniard is clearly not one of those who will allow the players everything, as long as they play well.

Now the Spartacists should carefully monitor the language!

Fully focused

Abascal had his first training session at Spartak just a few days ago. The Spaniard talks a lot about team unity and how important it is to constantly progress. He is clearly passionate about this new challenge in his career. Various photos and videos from the classes show that the specialist is fully focused on work.

Many experts are skeptical about Abaskal, but all these talks do not make sense until no one has seen him in action. The captain of the “red-white” Giorgi Jikia admitted that Guillermo made a good impression on him. The atmosphere in the team, apparently, is also in order. It certainly helps that Abascal is not much older than his players. At the same time, the Spaniard does not turn into a friend for the players, which is very important for normal working communication.

In the style of Cherchesov

It turns out that a delicate-looking European is capable of tough measures if he doesn’t like something. Remember Cherchesov’s first training at the head of Ferencváros? The former coach of the Russian national team then forbade the players to use the words “problem” and “please.” Abascal has already done something similar in Spartak.

The episode turned out to be quite funny and extremely difficult for the translator. Not knowing how to interpret one famous English expletive with the letter “F”, the club employee said: “Damn it!” The team rolled with laughter, but in general everyone understood: from now on, checkmate on the field is not welcome in any form. Abascal laughed along with everyone, as if he also understood the comedy of the situation.

Who would have thought that this red-haired European would have something in common with our Stanislav Salamych! On the other hand, another curious detail attracts attention. While Cherchesov struggles with words that emphasize politeness, Abascal, on the contrary, imposes a taboo on obscene vocabulary.

Maybe it doesn’t mean anything. Both in Europe and in Russia there are coaches who build such multi-storey structures that you are amazed. However, they are judged not by this, but by the result that their teams show on the football field. So Abaskal will soon have to prove his worth as a coach. After all, in which case you won’t forbid the fans to swear.
