Bayern dismiss reports of Ronaldo’s move as rumors
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has dismissed rumors that Manchester United’s Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the Munich club as rumors.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player with an outstanding career. However, the rumors that are circulating are not true, Salihamidzic told Sky Sport.
Earlier there were reports that Bayern could sign Ronaldo to replace the Pole Robert Lewandowski, who is close to leaving the German team for Barcelona. The 37-year-old Portuguese may leave Manchester United as he believes that the Premier League club cannot claim titles in the new season.
Ronaldo moved to Manchester United in August last year. In the 2021/22 season, he scored 24 goals in 39 matches for Manchester United, on account of his 3 assists. Cristiano’s current transfer fee is 30 million euros, according to Transfermarkt, and the player’s contract with the team runs until June 30, 2023.
