Photographer narrowly escaped falling from bus roof at Girona’s La Liga promotion celebration
The celebration of Girona’s title in the Spanish Segunda almost ended in tragedy when the team’s photographer almost fell off the roof of the club bus.

Girl photographer Nuri Margui escaped disaster. The bus passed under a tree whose branches were too low. The girl was frightened, stumbled and almost flew down from a three-meter height. Nearby was forward Arnau Martinez. He caught a reporter who managed not to drop her camera. The police noticed the incident, ran up to the bus and were ready to help, but the players still kept the girl themselves and dragged her back to the roof.
“Girona” in the final of the Segunda playoff tournament beat “Tenerife” on aggregate (0:0, 3:1) and advanced to the Example. The 2022/23 season in the Spanish La Liga starts on August 13.
