Girona football club wants to let spectators with dogs into the stadium
Spanish football club Girona is considering allowing spectators with dogs to attend team matches, according to Marca.
Girona, following the results of the last season, won the right to play in the top division of Spanish football. The sponsor of the club is a company producing dog food and other products for animals.
— We are studying the question of whether it is possible to come to the games with pets. The world is changing very quickly. There are a number of state regulations that regulate the procedure for the passage of spectators to the football stadium, but the possibility of placing them (dogs) in a certain place in the arena is being considered, said the club’s general manager, Nacho Mas-Baga.
He also noted that within the framework of cooperation with the sponsor, campaigns were organized to prevent the abandonment of animals, which received support from the club’s employees.
