The family of Washington striker Alexander Ovechkin spoke about the participation of a star hockey player in a football match for Dynamo Moscow, noting that they were delighted with another historic achievement.
Ovechkin, 36, played for Dynamo on Saturday in a friendly match against Amkal. The player scored in the 11th minute from Fedor Smolov’s pass and was replaced. The hockey player signed a contract with the “white-blue” for one meeting.
“Today it is a great happiness that Sasha played for the team of masters, I think it will be the winning goal,” the Match TV website quotes the father of hockey player Mikhail Ovechkin. He has gone down in history. A talented person is talented in everything. He is very good at playing hockey, football, tennis, table tennis, water polo. God bless you. Well “put”, there are no candy wrappers playing here. Very satisfied, well done.
– He would have Pele’s record [по голам в футболе] beat?
“I don’t even doubt it, that’s for sure.
The player’s mother, Tatyana Ovechkina, noted that at the moment with a goal scored, none of the players specifically adjusted to Alexander.
– The moment is very good, beautiful. The most important thing is that the goal was scored not for fun, but for the game. Very good. Nobody adjusted to Sasha. Some might think that they did it on purpose – not at all. Very good goal, I’m happy for him.
Not only is he a striker, he is also a good playmaker. He sees the court well – both in hockey and in football too. Here, at the very beginning of the game, he wanted to pass the heel. Not bad, well done, son, – said Tatyana.
– I think he can do any sport, even swimming would work. Absolutely everything, – said the wife of the hockey player Anastasia Shubskaya. – He proved once again that he is a professional in any form.
The meeting ended with a final score of 5:0.
