Zenit defeated Sochi on penalties in the PARI Premier Cup match
Zenit in a penalty shootout defeated Sochi in the match of the pre-season tournament PARI Premier Cup.
The main time of the meeting in St. Petersburg ended with the score 1:1. Newcomer Zelimkhan Bakaev (73rd minute) scored a goal for the Blue-White-Blues, Georgy Melkadze (75th) scored for Sochi.
In a series of post-match 11-meter kicks, the St. Petersburg club turned out to be stronger – 4:2.

Earlier, Zenit in the PARI Cup Premier beat Paris NN on penalties (1:1, 5:3).
On June 29, Zenit will meet with CSKA Moscow, and Sochi will play against Pari NN on July 1.
