Lokomotiv is the strongest in Russia. Because the case of Pashinin and Loskov is most important

The new appointment of Oleg Pashinin and Dmitry Loskov is accepted by society with a poorly concealed resentment for the Cherkizovsky legends. Like, they deserve the first team of Lokomotiv, and they were sent to the children – they were instructed to lead the youth football development program. It seems like the position is out of order.

The situation is worth taking a closer look at. Because there is a feeling that standard approaches are not entirely appropriate here.

It is absurd to argue that the showcase of any club is the first team. That it is here that the most prestigious, the most media, the most money work. But is it really necessary to strive here?

The RPL coach is a firing position. Whether you’re a legend or not.

Here, for example, just the same two legends led the CSKA team for the season – Alexei and Vasily Berezutsky. How did playing legend help them on the coaching bench?

Or in Dynamo, not so long ago, the representative of the legendary club family, Kirill Novikov, turned out to be the main one. The same question: how did this legendaryness help him? Gave the right to one or two extra mistakes?

In Spartak, the last of the legends was Dmitry Alenichev: he was fired after the first round of the new season. It’s even interesting, would they dare to do this if it was not their own legend, but invited from outside?

So the argument of playing legend in the coaching fate does not work at all. Especially when the club is run by people who came from outside. And configured to cooperate with the same – also come from outside. For them, club legends are just museum exhibits, the figures are beautiful, but alien.

Well, public opinion will now force Thomas Zorn to put Pashinin and Loskov on the first team. How much use will it be if the leader does not initially believe in this idea? If he gives the legends a chance, only to make sure that he is right, to shut up dissatisfied voices, to quickly change someone else’s coach for a close one.

Whereas the appointment that has taken place can carry a much greater charge of sincerity. And more, oddly enough, meaning for the club.

Perhaps not everyone noticed this, but in general, the legends are entrusted with the most successful part of the club economy. If we take a look at the Russian football of the last ten or fifteen years, then we will not be able to call Lokomotiv the tournament leader. But as a leader in terms of preparing players, we can easily and confidently.

Various authoritative studies have already said this more than once: no one in Russia gives as many professional football players as the Lokomotiv system. The railroad workers themselves rely on their own pupils (Miranchuk, Barinov, Zhemaletdinov, Magkeev, plus a new many-sided galaxy that has emerged in the last couple of years, from Khudyakov to Karpukas). At some points in recent history, the national team relied on the pupils of Loko (Smolnikov, Kokorin, Glushakov, Jikia, Ozdoev, Erokhin, Poloz). And even some other RPL teams draw their well-being from the same source – just look, for example, at Rostov, today almost half assembled from recent railway understudies (Glebov, Shchetinin, Tugarev and many others).

Despite this productivity, the German management team that entered Cherkizovo found the training system to be imperfect. Since the European quotes did not confirm any special success of the club kennel. The reformers managed to break a lot of the old system, but not to build a new one. And when they left for their homeland, it became clear that Lokomotiv was left with nothing: the old was broken, the new was not created.

And it was at this moment that youth football came under the jurisdiction of Pashinin and Loskov. They will have to restore order in the economy after the ebullient and controversial recent years. It is necessary to develop a strategy and tactics. And, most importantly, we have to keep the championship of our club in terms of the productivity of the training system.

Is it an unworthy task to remain the strongest in the country? Can anyone treat such a person more reverently and honestly than club legends?

So the case of Pashinin and Loskov was entrusted with nothing petty. Big business and very creative.

If they penetrate the topic and manage to get support from above, if they not only preserve, but also develop the club’s traditions of football reproduction, then they will benefit their native Lokomotiv even more than in the main team.
