Alaev will be appointed acting head of the RPL

Secretary General of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Alexander Alaev will be appointed acting president of the Russian Premier League (RPL), said Ural President Grigory Ivanov.
– Grigory Viktorovich, is it already known who will be acting temporarily instead of Khachaturyants?

On Monday, June 27, Ashot Khachaturyants announced to Match TV that he was leaving the post of president of the RPL.
Khachaturyants was appointed Acting President of the RPL on October 5, 2021. On November 22, 2021, he was approved in this position unanimously by the participants in the general meeting of the RPL for a period of 5 years.
Last season, Zenit St. Petersburg became the champion of Russia. Sochi finished second in the RPL, Dynamo Moscow took third place.
