Mostovoy believes that there is nothing left in the memory of the former Spartak forward Larsson
Former Spartak midfielder Alexander Mostovoy commented on the break in the contract of the Red-Whites with striker Jordan Larsson.
Spartak on Monday announced the termination of the contract with Larsson by mutual agreement of the parties. The 25-year-old Swede left the club as a free agent.
“Sorry, but there’s nothing you can do about it. Based on the fact that everyone quietly left in March, and now they are leaving again, the news about Larsson did not come as a surprise. For “Spartak” this is not a loss, he no longer played last season at his level. There is nothing left in my memory about him. He himself did everything to make his successful period in Moscow forgotten. A good footballer, he could benefit Spartak. Perhaps it was worth selling it when they gave good money. But who knew then that this would happen, ”Mostovoy told Match TV.
The striker became a Spartak player in 2019 and has since scored 27 goals in 83 matches.
Earlier, FIFA announced that foreign players have the right to suspend their employment contracts with clubs from Russia until June 30, 2023.
