Tomyu’s failure to obtain a license to play at a professional level is a disaster, because football is very much loved in Tomsk. This was reported to RB Sport by the former head coach of Tomsk residents Valery Nepomnyashchiy.
If that’s true, then it’s a disaster. The city of Tomsk does not deserve this. Maybe they will orient themselves and fix this problem, there is still time.
I know that the governor sent a letter to the RFU that there are intentions to help the club, but why it has stalled, I do not know, this is news to me. Let’s hope this is just a rumor. I was recently in Tomsk, they don’t want to leave the city without a team,” said Nepomniachtchi.
Match TV reported that Tom was not issued a license to play in the Second League, since the founders did not endorse the letter of guarantee confirming the club’s budget.
Previously, Tomsk residents did not receive a license to play in the First League, where they took 14th place in the 2021/22 season.
