Former Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman has spoken out about a possible transfer of Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski to the Catalan club.
– He is a great player, a stable scorer. However, there are questions about his age. He is 35 years old? I doubt that it is worth paying 50-60 million euros for him, excluding salary. Maybe he has two years left to play. I would think very hard,” Koeman said.
Lewandowski has been playing for the Munich club since 2014. As part of Bayern, he played 374 matches and scored 344 goals.
Earlier, the striker openly declared his desire to change the team, but the Munich team insist that the football player must work out the contract, which is designed for another year, to the end.
