Former football player of the Russian national team Roman Shirokov reacted to the possible transfer of the ex-midfielder of Zenit Magomed Ozdoev to Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, the Metaratings.ru resource, citing its own sources, reported that the management of the Al-Hilal club, the current champion of Saudi Arabia, was negotiating with the former Zenit midfielder Magomed Ozdoev, but the Russian himself had not yet decided on his future – he has options with other Asian clubs.
– What is the true level, we do not know. Especially the reigning champion. I don’t think it’s much lower. For the money, a good offer: why not try it? I think I would like to stay in Russia, in a team that fights for good places. Apparently there are no offers yet. His position is closed everywhere with us, so now it’s hard to find a job, – Shirokov is quoted by the Championship.
