Former Spartak football player Alexander Mostovoy reacted to Spartak’s joke about the departure of striker Jordan Larsson.
On Tuesday, Spartak ironically said goodbye to Larsson on his Telegram channel. The Red-Whites joked about the player’s statistics last season, comparing him to 007 (0 goals, 0 assists and 7 interviews). The Moscow club on Monday announced the termination of the contract with Larsson by mutual agreement of the parties.
“Now is the time for jokes. I wouldn’t say it’s pretty or ugly. Now is just the time. The main thing is not to turn into a football nation of jokes with all this. They kicked us out and blocked us from everywhere, and now we will only be joking with each other. This is all good, but you need to know the measure.
Dynamo’s match against bloggers is great, but let’s all play like this. They don’t do that in Europe, they win cups there. We have to share a little. In normal form, you can joke. It’s a pity that we live in such a time, – quotes the words of Mostovoy “Championship”.
Larsson became a Spartak player in 2019. As part of the “red-white” he scored 27 goals in 83 matches, won the silver of the championship of Russia.
Earlier, FIFA announced that foreign players have the right to suspend contracts with clubs from Russia until June 30, 2023. The second part of last season, Larsson played for the Swedish AIK, played 11 matches and scored 3 goals.
