Victor Moses never came up with a good reason for leaving the club.
Victor Moses does not seem to want to return to Russia. The midfielder of Spartak is about to use the FIFA option, but something keeps him from making a fateful decision.
Unlike Jordan Larsson, the football player does not want to completely ruin his reputation in the eyes of the fans. The Nigerian even tried to find a good reason to justify his “escape”. But fans and legends of the Red-Whites did not like the reference to family circumstances.
Moses was literally bombarded with advice about his personal life. Will he listen?
“The wife does not want to let go”
Following the Swede Jordan Larsson, some other legionnaires may also leave Spartak. Martins Pereira, Shamar Nicholson and Victor Moses still have not joined the capital team. The first two were played in their teams and may well return to duty, albeit belatedly. In the case of the Nigerian, the situation is more complicated. The club seems to be waiting for him and even wonder why the midfielder is late. The player himself, apparently, is not going to return and is already coming up with excuses.
– Moses explains to Spartak that there are several reasons why he cannot return to the club’s location yet. One of the reasons is the opinion of the family. The footballer’s wife does not want to let him go back to Russia. The club and the player remain in touch. The decision on the future of the midfielder has not been made, – a source familiar with the situation quotes the “Championship”.
Whether the wife of the 31-year-old Nigerian is really worried about Viktor’s future in Russia, or is it just an attempt to cover up the escape, is not known for certain. Ex-goalkeeper of the Russian national team Ruslan Nigmatullin believes that the real reason lies in the agents who found more interesting options for the player than Spartak. Anzor Kavazashvili, another former goalkeeper of the Red-Whites, shares a similar opinion. The veteran considers Moses’ words to be fiction, suggesting that the Nigerian simply does not want to play for the Moscow team.
Even if the wife of a football player is absolutely indifferent to what country her husband plays in, Moses still acts more far-sighted than Larsson. Jordan publicly rejoiced at the release from labor obligations to the club – and instantly turned into a traitor and villain in the eyes of the fans.
However, there is no need to talk about the correct attitude towards Spartak and its fans. What prevented you from notifying the management in advance of your decision not to return? Is that the lack of iron agreements and suitable conditions at the new place of work. In the end, while the salary is dripping, why rush to terminate the contract?
“Omnipresent excuse”
Fans of “Spartak” from the version about the opinion of his wife, for the most part, were not happy. Of course, Moses avoided such harsh criticism as Larsson. Most of the statements were censorship and were predominantly recommendatory in nature. Practical advice Victor received in full:
– Heel, change your wife !!!
– Let the family look at the amount that he is paid under the contract.
– Listen to the woman and do it your way!
– Vitya, you have a Russian name, come here, we’ll find a wife here.
– But I don’t understand, he doesn’t need loot?

Some tried to understand the player and his family, suggesting what exactly might be hidden behind their motives and fears.
“It’s just that he doesn’t have a poppy here and doesn’t want to come here.
– He is afraid that the locals will recapture Vitka …
Other fans of the “red-whites” suspected that the reference to his wife was only a cover, and not the most original.
– Again this ubiquitous excuse.
– How did this thug with his family already got it. Teddy, Gigot, Vanoli, Moses… who’s next?
Until the story with the departure of Moses is not over. Perhaps the player will listen to the opinion of the fans and decide to return to Moscow. Or, in extreme cases, he will find the courage to admit that he has found the best option for himself and leaves the club at a difficult time solely of his own free will. In general, it will go well.
