Sports director of “Orenburg” Dmitry Andreev said that in the summer transfer window the club plans to sign agreements with 3-4 more players.

On Wednesday, striker Stepan Oganesyan moved from Spartak Moscow to Orenburg on loan.

– How many newcomers can we expect from Orenburg?

– A player will arrive tonight, another one should arrive on Friday. Orenburg will have three or four more newcomers.

We were looking for players in the attack group. They wanted to take Hovhannisyan back in the winter, but it didn’t work out. Now we managed to agree with Spartak.

– Were there any difficulties during the negotiations with Spartak?

– In winter, they did not come to the general. Everything has gone pretty fast now. Orenburg has a priority right to buy. Now you can talk a lot: a young player, he has good qualities, Marcel (Licka) has a high opinion of him. We hope that Oganesyan will play. And if it starts to play, then there will be no questions – we will buy it out, – Sport24 quotes Andreev.

In the 2021/22 season, Orenburg took third place in the FNL and, following the results of the play-offs, won the right to play in the RPL.
