Tochilin will become the head coach of Sochi, since Garanin does not have a license – media
The Sochi Football Club will appoint Alexander Tochilin as head coach, the Championship reports, citing a source familiar with the situation.
Sochi announced the appointment of Vadim Garanin on June 20. Garanin does not have the necessary license to lead any RPL team. Sochi avoided the wording “head coach” in relation to Garanin, the specialist was called “the first recruit” and just a coach.
“Tochilin will formally take over as head coach due to Garanin’s lack of a Pro license,” said a Championship source.
Tochilin is known for playing for Dynamo for 14 seasons (1995-2008). When he was a player, he twice took bronze with the team (1997, 2008), and also won the Russian Cup (season 1994/95).
Last season, Sochi under the leadership of Vladimir Fedotov became the second in the RPL.
