Ex-general director of Lokomotiv Herkus will enter the management of Torpedo – media

The former general director of the Lokomotiv football club, Ilya Gerkus, will receive a position in the capital’s Torpedo, the Championship reports, citing a source.
— Herkus will deal with strategy, brand development and commercial activities. Denis Maslov will remain the head of the club. The appointment of Herkus to Torpedo should be announced in the near future, the source said.
Gerkus himself told Match TV that he could not comment on this issue yet.
Gerkus was appointed president of Lokomotiv in the summer of 2016, in 2018 his position was renamed to “CEO”. He left the club in December 2018.
Torpedo, following the results of the 2021/22 season, won the right to play in the RPL.
