Midfielder Mamadou Maiga moved from the Moscow football club Veles to PARI NN, the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod team reports.
The contract with the 27-year-old Malian, who has Russian citizenship, was concluded for three years.
– Maiga is a versatile football player who can play in the positions of a defensive midfielder and a central defender. We have been watching this tenacious and technical football player for a long time. We are glad that he has replenished the composition of our club. We hope that Mamadou will show his best in the RPL,” said Igor Kudryashov, Deputy General Director of PARI NN for transfer policy.
The midfielder has been playing for Veles since the summer of 2020. Maiga played 64 matches for the capital team, scoring one goal and making six assists.
Last season, PARI NN took 11th place in the Russian Championship.
