Former Orenburg player Andrea Chukanov told Sport24 that the incident with Krylia Sovetov defender Alexander Anyukov in 2019 was settled immediately after the match.
Anyukov for the first time in his career received a direct red card at the end of the meeting with Orenburg (1:0) for pushing Chukanov after the referee’s whistle.
– In the match against Krylia, you unexpectedly clashed with Anyukov – Alexander received the first red card in his life. The main highlight of the episode: Anyukov and Kombarov put you on the lawn for a couple.
— There it was. The end of the match, the Krylia player played with his hand in the penalty area – there was no whistle. We run up to the side one, who was supposed to see everything: why don’t you tell the main one? Kombarov, who was trying to get between us and the linesman, pushes me away, I follow him. And then Anyukov suddenly swoops down on me, swinging. I fall, although the contact was not strong – but I understood that it would be red. I decided that the judge should record this moment. After the match, Anyukov went into the locker room, silently shook my hand and left. The incident is over.
