Boris Rotenberg announced the appointment of Tochilin as the head coach of Sochi
Alexander Tochilin will be appointed the head coach of Sochi, said Boris Rotenberg, president of the football club.
“Of course, there is an agreement with Tochilin,” Rotenberg told reporters.
In June, Vadim Garanin was appointed head coach of Sochi, who was not announced as the head coach due to lack of the necessary license. The training process at the club will be led by Garanin.
On Friday, the Sochi club defeated PARI NN in the PARI Premier Cup match (1:1, 4:2) in a penalty shootout.
Last season, Sochi, under the leadership of Vladimir Fedotov, took second place in the Russian championship. Fedotov after the end of the season led the Moscow CSKA.
Tochilin’s last place of work was Olymp-Dolgoprudny, which he left in 2022.
