Roma legend Francesco Totti has said he thinks Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to join the Roma football club.
Earlier, ex-Gialorossi player Angelo Di Livio said that the 37-year-old Portuguese could become a Roma player, the transfer could be announced on July 7.
– I never sincerely believed in it, I know the current reality. If it were really true, it would be great, I think it would delight all Roma fans, ”Totti quotes Football Italia.
He also said that the transfer of midfielder Paulo Dybala who left Juventus to Roma was “very possible”.
“But then other things happened, and that possibility disappeared. Now he will go to another team, I don’t know which one. I hoped he could come to Rome. There was a conversation. Although I don’t know what they said to each other,” said Totti.
