Ejuke and Sigurdsson suspended contracts with CSKA, the club plans to go to court

CSKA forwards Chidera Ejuke and Arnor Sigurdsson will spend the 2022/23 season in other teams, the press service of the Moscow club reports.
The players of the Moscow team decided to take advantage of the FIFA amendment, which allows them to suspend the contract with the club until June 2023.
– PFC CSKA regrets the decision of the players, which was made despite the efforts of the club and contractual obligations. As we reported earlier, PFC CSKA plans to apply to the courts to protect its interests in connection with the decision of FIFA, which we consider discriminatory and contrary to the charter of this organization, CSKA said in a statement.
The new RPL season starts on July 15.
