“I want to play for Torpedo and end my career in my native club” – Samsonov

Torpedo captain Artem Samsonov shared his expectations for the upcoming RPL season, and also noted that he would like to end his career in the Moscow team.
– You have already played several friendly matches. What form is the team in?
– So far, only gained physical form. We still have a little more to work on physics, about 3-4 days, and then we will begin to tactically prepare for the season.
– You are the vice-captain of Torpedo. Is the captain’s armband a big responsibility?
– Not. The main thing is not who is the captain, but the team. If you play in a team where all the good guys, everything becomes possible. Then you can beat any opponent.
Will next season be your first in the Premier League for you?
– Yes it is. I want to play for Torpedo and finish my career in my home club. This team gave me everything. RPL is what I have been going to all my life. Sometimes I forgot about this goal, but finally I achieved it. It is very important for me to reach the top division, ”RB Sport quotes Samsonov as saying.
According to the results of last season, Torpedo took first place in the Football National League (FNL) and won the right to play in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
