“Borodyuk is an excellent psychologist” – Torpedo defender Samsonov

Torpedo captain Artem Samsonov shared his impressions of working together in the Moscow team with head coach Alexander Borodyuk.

– Can you name your top three coaches?

– I achieved a lot with Igor Kolyvanov, then I became the European champion, and with Alexander Genrikhovich Borodyuk I went to the RPL. He is only the first year in the team, and has already brought it to the Premier League. Also in my career was Viktor Navochenko. Under him, they returned me to Salyut from Belgorod, they trusted me.

– Last season, Torpedo did not have a single home defeat. Why did you play much more confidently under Borodyuk?

– He is a mentally competent coach. Maybe, where necessary, to joke. Alexander Genrikhovich is a very good psychologist and finds for each player exactly those words that help correctly and set them up for the game. He and the team are on the same wavelength, – quotes the words of Samsonov “RB Sport”.

According to the results of last season, Torpedo took first place in the Football National League (FNL) and won the right to play in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
