Wendel could move to Napoli or Everton – media

Midfielder St. Petersburg “Zenith” Wendel can become a player of “Everton” or “Napoli”, according to colunadofla.com.
According to the publication, the agent of the 24-year-old Brazilian Francergio Ferreira offered his services to English and Italian clubs, which showed interest in the player before his transfer to the Russian team. The contender for the footballer was also called Flamengo. Wendel and his family want to return to Brazil, but the agent hopes to find a way for the client to continue his career in Europe.
In early July, the general director of Zenit, Alexander Medvedev, announced that Wendel would spend the next season in the St. Petersburg club.
Wendel moved to Zenit in 2020 from Portugal’s Sporting CP, signing a five-year deal with the Blue-White-Blues.
