Boca Juniors fired the coach Sebastiano Battaglio after a failed performance in the Copa Libertadores.
The Argentine team flew out in the 1/8 finals stage, giving way to the Corinthians quarter-finals. Both games ended in a 0: 0 draw, the Brazilians won on penalties 6: 5.
The Boca Juniors Club announces that Sebastian Battaglia is no longer the coach of the first team and thanks him for his contribution throughout the cycle.
Battaglia, passed through the reserve team, took over as coach and won two titles – the Argentine Cup and the League Cup, for which the entire club will be eternally grateful. Sebastian, Boca will always be your home. Good luck in your career.
