Zenit responded to rumors of interest in Marcao

The general director of Zenit, Alexander Medvedev, called the information about the interest of the St. Petersburg club in the defender Marcao the speculation of Italian journalists.
Earlier, journalist Fabrizio Romano said that the Blue-White-Blues offered Galatasaray 15 million euros for the 26-year-old Brazilian.
– Is it true that Zenit offered 15 million for Marcao? These are the speculations of Italian journalists,” Medvedev told the “Championship”.
Marcao has been playing for Galatasaray since 2019, his contract runs until the summer of 2024. Last season, the player played 38 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal.
