Petrzhela is confident that UEFA will soon return Russian teams to European competitions

Former Zenit head coach Vlastimil Petrzhela believes that the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) will soon again allow Russian clubs to participate in European competition.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) and UEFA previously suspended Russian clubs and teams from participating in competitions under their auspices due to the situation in Ukraine.
– I think that UEFA is not fools sitting to extend the term of Russia’s ban. Another five years of ban? No I do not think so. It seems to me that your country will soon be returned to Europe, to European competitions. As soon as everything is good in the world, Russia will immediately play in the Champions League, the Europa League and other tournaments. What is happening in Europe is a disaster,” Petrzhela told RB Sport.
