Lokomotiv football players held a training session in the boxing gym on Wednesday, the team’s press service reports.
The players visited the Boxing Academy in Luzhniki.
“Soccer balls have been replaced by medicine balls, the usual shots on goal are powerful hooks, uppercuts, work on the “paws” and sparring,” the press service of the railway workers reports.
On July 10, Lokomotiv will play against Dynamo in a friendly match. Defender Boris Rotenberg, who had previously left Lokomotiv Moscow due to the expiration of his contract, will take part in the game. The last time Rotenberg took the field in the 2018/19 season, most of the time the defender was recovering from injuries.
