The first coach of Igor Akinfeev died at the age of 88

Ex-football player of Moscow CSKA Desiderius Kovacs died at the age of 88, the press service of the club reports.
The cause of death of the former army midfielder is not specified. Kovacs was the first children’s coach of CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev.
“We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Desiderius Fedorovich,” the army team said in a statement.
Kovac played for CSKA in 1958-1960, he also defended the colors of Moscow Lokomotiv, Chisinau Moldova (now Zimbru), Traktor Volgograd, OSK Lvov (later SKA).
