Khimki announced the transfer of Guliyev

Midfielder Ayaz Guliyev signed a contract with Khimki near Moscow, according to site football club.

The agreement with the 25-year-old football player is calculated until the end of the 2023/24 season. The midfielder has already passed a medical examination in a team near Moscow.

– The most important thing is that the club was interested in me – this is a very important point. We met, discussed the details – I liked how we talked with the leaders of Khimki, everything went smoothly. We came to a common decision, and I signed the contract without any delay. I know many guys in the team: we know each other well from playing for Spartak, so it was easier for me to join the team. We communicate with Reziuan Mirzov from Rostov. It’s good for adaptation. At the Khimki Arena, I also played for the youth team, the field both then and now was of very high quality, Guliyev said.

Last season, Guliyev played for the Tula Arsenal. In the last RPL draw, the footballer played 26 matches, made one assist.

Khimki in the first round of the Russian Championship of the new season will host Zenit on July 15.
