Former Bayern Munich star player Samuel Cuffour has spoken out about the class gap debate between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“They pushed each other very well. You could see that Messi is far ahead of Ronaldo in terms of talent, but Ronaldo used hard work to catch up, Ghana Web quoted Kuffour as saying.
Ronaldo and Messi remain the only active players to score at least 700 goals. According to various statistics, the Portuguese has 813 goals, while Messi has 764.
