The reaction of the stands in St. Petersburg to the song MakSim upset Yegor Titov
Former midfielder of Spartak and the Russian national team Yegor Titov condemned the behavior of the public in the stands during the performances of the singer MakSim and the Bi-2 group at the Super Bowl show.
On Saturday, Zenit defeated Spartak (4:0) in the match for the OLIMPBET Russian Super Cup. MakSim in St. Petersburg before this match performed the hit “Do You Know”. She sang the same song with the fans after the final of the Cup of Russia “Spartak” – “Dynamo” in Luzhniki on May 29. The track is popular among red-and-white fans. Lyova Bi-2 took the stage after the Super Cup in a Spartak scarf, which caused a negative response from part of the Gazprom Arena stands.
– I think that the RFU has already reached a new level in terms of organizing the Russian Cup and Super Cup. People know how to arrange a real holiday, an event from a football match. In St. Petersburg, too, everything went great, – Titov told Match TV.
– The only fly in the ointment is the reaction of the St. Petersburg public to the performance of MakSim and Bi-2. It does not paint the city. It is clear when they boo and shout something to the players of the other team, we are used to it. But what is the fault of the artists? This behavior hurt me, so I can only express words of support for both MakSim and Loewe from Bi-2. It doesn’t matter what views the singers hold or who they support, you can’t do that with them, ”added the former footballer.
