“Ronaldo is not for sale, we plan to start next season with him” – ten Hag
Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale and is included in the team’s plans for next season, said Premier League head coach Erik ten Hag.
Earlier it was reported that the 37-year-old striker will not play in Manchester United’s pre-season tour in Thailand and Australia. According to media reports, Ronaldo wants to leave the club to participate in the Champions League. At the end of last season, the Red Devils failed to win a ticket to the most prestigious club tournament in Europe.
– Cristiano Ronaldo is not with us, but this is due to personal problems. We plan to start the new season with Ronaldo. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with him.
I spoke with Ronaldo before this question was raised. I had a good conversation with him, but this is between us. He didn’t tell me he wanted to leave… I read about it in the press, but all I can say is Cristiano is not for sale. We want to succeed together, — quotes the words of ten Hag The Athletic.
Ronaldo has scored 24 goals in 38 appearances for Manchester United since his return to Old Trafford last season.
