Most of the foreign players of Lokomotiv do not plan to leave the football club and have signed the corresponding document, said the sports director of the red-greens, Thomas Zorn.
Earlier, the International Football Federation (FIFA) extended the permission for foreign players to suspend contracts with Russian clubs until the summer of 2023.
– I don’t think that the rest of the guys will use FIFA’s permission. We have communication with all legionnaires. They made a specific decision that they would not use the option. Almost all legionnaires have signed an agreement that they will not leave the team. Almost everything. We don’t have a problem with the legionnaires that they will leave,” Zorn quotes the “Championship”.
Lokomotiv striker Jan Kukhta previously moved to the Czech Sparta on loan until the end of next season.
Capital club in the first round World Russian Premier League (RPL) on July 17 will host the Nizhny Novgorod Pari NN.
