Basel spoke about the difficulties in negotiations with CSKA on the lease of Chalov
The head of Basel’s communications service, Remo Meister, spoke about the situation with CSKA forward Fedor Chalov, who spent the second part of the 2021/22 season on loan at the Swiss club.
– While everything is unchanged, we are waiting and considering options for the return of Chalov. But we don’t know anything else, everything is rather complicated. I just spoke with the president of Basel, and he said that at the moment the situation with Chalov is not moving, nothing is happening. The club is just waiting. Fedor is on a contract with CSKA, and it’s better to ask them about his future.
– It was reported that CSKA did not receive the full amount for Chalov’s loan. Is it so?
“I can’t answer this question, we don’t disclose contract details,” RB Sport quotes Meister.
The contract of 24-year-old Chalov with CSKA is calculated until June 30, 2024. For Basel, he played 16 matches and scored 4 goals.
