The former midfielder of the Russian national football team Alexander Mostovoy was surprised by the decision of the striker Artem Dzyuba, who arrived at the location of the Kazan Rubin.
On Tuesday, Dziuba had a training session at Rubin. The Kazan club reported that the 33-year-old striker had temporarily joined the team to keep fit.
– Laughed! It seems to me that some kind of stuffing. So far I have little faith in it. I can’t understand why this is Dzyube. He does not need to go to the First League! They made me laugh in the morning,” Mostovoy said to the “Championship”.
Rubin was relegated from the top division of Russian football at the end of the 2021/22 season.
Dzyuba at the end of the season left the St. Petersburg “Zenith”, the contract with which was not renewed. According to media reports, Turkish clubs, Serbian Crvena Zvezda are interested in the player.
