Difficulties in obtaining a fan card can only arise for those fans who go to Russian stadiums to fight, this opinion was expressed by the former striker of the Slovakian national team, Dynamo Moscow, Saturn Ramenskoye, Amkar Perm and Moscow Martin Yakubko.
— Introduction of the fan card. A necessary initiative or an extra problem?
– I made myself a fan card when I came to Russia for the World Cup and the Euro. I don’t see anything wrong with that. Once I made a card and come with it to the matches, what problems. Difficulties can arise only for those who go to the stadiums to fight. For me personally, this is a normal thing, people will be under control – I did something bad in football, that’s it, you won’t go again, goodbye.
— Is there a similar system in Slovakia?
– Not. But if you did something and you were caught on camera, you are banned from entering the stadium for five years.
We have cameras too. Which measure is more effective?
– I was registering for a fan card, took a picture. And even with a huge queue, the whole process took me 35-40 minutes. I took this card and went to football, no problems at all, – Yakubko told RB Sport.
On June 21, the RPL press service announced that from the beginning of the new season, a fan card will be required to attend matches at the Yekaterinburg Arena, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov Arena, Solidarity Samara Arena and Fisht stadiums, where they play ” Ural, PARI NN, Rostov, Wings of the Soviets and Sochi, respectively. Other stadiums will join the project in the second part of the season.
