UEFA set prize money for the new European Cup season

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has approved the prize fund of European competitions for the upcoming season, which is 3.5 billion euros.

Most of this amount is intended for clubs participating in the Champions League. Clubs that fail to make it through the play-off stage of the qualification will receive 5 million euros. Participants in the group stage are allocated 15.64 million each. Each victory in the group is estimated at 2.8 million, a draw – 930 thousand.

9.6 million will be paid to those who advanced to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, 10.6 million to the quarter-finals, 12.5 million to the semi-finals. The club treasury of the Champions League finalists will be replenished by 15.5 million. .

The prize fund of the Europa League is 465 million, the Conference League – 235 million. Participants in the UEFA Super Cup will receive 3.5 million each, and the winner will receive another 1 million.
