The day of the launch RPL collect statistics on records.
Most Titles – Spartak (10)
The hegemony of Spartak, which he established at the end of the 20th century, allows the red and white to remain undisputed leaders in terms of the number of league trophies. Despite the fact that Spartak have only won one title in the last 20 years, the advantage over their closest rival Zenit is still solid: three championship cups.
The largest number of matches and seasons – “Spartak”, CSKA and Lokomotiv (923 games, 31 seasons)
Only three teams have played in all draws without exception RPL. And they, logically, are the leaders in terms of the number of games played. At the same time, it is curious that the whole trinity has added an extra fight because of the “golden matches”. “Spartak” in the 96th beat “Alania” in the decisive game, e CSKA in 2002 – Lokomotiv. By the way, the “gold matches” could officially return to regulation soon. RPL.
Most points – Spartak (1708)
And here Spartak continues to drive with confidence thanks to the rich luggage of the 90s. Separation from the nearest pursuer CSKA is 51 points. It will be difficult for the army team to recover from such a gap even in a 10-year period. But what about Zenith? The Petersburgers missed 3 seasons in the mid-90s, and therefore are only 4th in terms of overall points. They currently have 1516 points.
Most wins – Spartak (496)
Soon the red and white will be able to celebrate the victory of their 500th anniversary RPL. Also, some chances of achieving this next season have CSKA, which has so far scored 481 wins. The army team must win 19 games, a solid indicator, which may be enough for the championship. Here’s how many wins he has won in the previous two draws RPL Zenit Champion.
The highest percentage of points scored – “Spartak” (61.7%)
In this component, Spartak’s leadership is not as strong as in others. This is understandable: the cumbersome game in recent seasons has seriously affected the average of the points scored by the red and white. Only one percent from Spartak, Zenit, also not far away CSKA, where this figure is 59.8. Perhaps we will soon see a change of leaders here.
Most wins in a season – Spartak (23)
Spartak established this indicator in the 2000 season, when they scored 70 points in total. At the same time, the gap from second place, which was taken by Lokomotiv, was not so impressive: 8 points. The fact is that Spartak then suffered 6 defeats and only 1 draw.
Most wins in a row – CSKA (13)
CSKA started the winning streak at the end of the 2013/14 season when they scored 10 straight wins at the finish line and finished 1 point clear of Zenit. At the start of the 2014/15 campaign, the Army squad added three more successful games to the piggy bank and, as a result, broke their 1998 record (12 wins in a row).
Most unbeaten games in a row – Lokomotiv (27)
This impressive series of “railroad” unbeaten runs lasted for two seasons. It started in the 2004 victorious season for them and ended in the summer of 2005.
The most titled football player – Dmitry Ananko (9)
Nine times Dmitry Ananko has managed to win the title with Spartak, and so far there is no person who can at least equal him in this indicator. Among the current players, Igor Akinfeev has the best indicator – 6 titles.
The most successful coach – Oleg Romantsev (8)
8 out of 9 of their titles at the end of the last century, Spartak won with Romantsev. Only in 1996, when Romantsev was distracted from working with the national team, Georgy Yartsev led the red and white to triumph. Of the current coaches, Sergey Semak has made a serious move, which has already managed to get 4 titles from 2019. Considering the total dominance of Zenit in RPLthere is no doubt that in the next few years Semak will continue to fill the gap on Romantsev.
Most appearances – Igor Akinfeev (514)
Akinfeev became the record holder of this indicator at the beginning of last season, beating Sergei Ignashevich, who has 489 matches. Already in the course of last season the goalkeeper CSKA has successfully passed the score of 500 games. Among current players, Dziuba is closest to Akinfeev, who has 390 games, but Artem is unlikely to continue playing in RPL.
Most goals – Artem Dzyuba (148)
Like Akinfeev, Dziuba became a champion RPL last season, when he overtook Oleg Veretennikov, who had 143 goals to his credit. Now there is still no one who can throw Dziuba off the pedestal in the near future. Among the current players, Fedor Smolov has the most goals (94), but let’s be honest, given the striker’s performance in recent seasons, he simply doesn’t have enough time until the end of his career to get to the top. Although Fedor is quite capable of reaching the milestone of 100 goals already in the season that starts today.
Most goals in a season – Seydou Doumbia (28)
Doumbia’s record was set during the 2011/12 transition championship, which actually lasted a season and a half. That is why it is unlikely that anyone will reach such a milestone in the near future. In order for Doumbia’s record to decrease, or an increase in the number of matches in RPL at least up to 34, or the appearance of some kind of miraculous scorer, capable of scoring at the level of the indicator 1 match – 1 goal.
