Anzor Kavazashvili, the bronze medalist of the 1966 World Cup as part of the USSR national team, was not surprised by the departure of Luca Cattani from the post of sports director of Spartak.
On July 13, the Moscow club announced the departure of the Italian functionary from this post, which he had held since December 2021.
— Are you going to ask about Cattani? And what can I tell you … I have nothing to say. I don’t give a damn that Cattani is gone. So write it! Surprised? Why should I be surprised? I have long ceased to be surprised at the Fedun family – that of a husband, that of a wife, that of a brother. I stopped being surprised a long time ago, – quotes the words of Kavazashvili “Championship”.
The new season of the Russian Championship starts on July 15.
