Abascal’s agent said that the coach will continue to work at Spartak, despite the departure of Cattani
David Sobrado, agent of Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal, said that the specialist will continue to work in the Moscow club.
Spartak on Wednesday announced that sporting director Luca Cattani is leaving the club. The Italian specialist has held the position since December 2021. Under him, Abascal led the “red-whites”.
“Abascal will remain the head coach of Spartak, despite the departure of sports director Cattani,” Sobrado quotes “Championship”.
The new season of the Russian Championship starts on July 15. The “Red-Whites” in the first round on July 16 will play on the road with Grozny “Akhmat”.
