The PSG management intends to extend the agreement with Lionel Messi until the summer of 2024. Spanish newspaper wrote about it Marca.
The current contract of the 35-year-old footballer expires in the summer of 2023, the Parisians want to extend it for another year.
PSG are pleased with the financial results of the transfer of Messi, the club’s income last season rose to 700 million euros, which is a record figure. A significant part of the finances came from the sale of Messi T-shirts and sponsorship contracts, the payments for which increased after the arrival of the Argentine.
Messi made 34 appearances for PSG last season, scoring 11 goals and providing 14 assists.
