RFS expresses condolences over Yartsev’s death

The RFU expressed condolences in connection with the death of the ex-coach of Spartak and the Russian national team Georgy Yartsev at the age of 75.

The death of Yartsev became known on July 15, he was 74 years old.

– As a football player, Georgy Alexandrovich played more than 100 matches for Spartak Moscow, became the national champion and played for the USSR national team. He spent most of his coaching career at Spartak and the Russian national team, which he led to EURO 2004. Being the head coach of the Red-Whites, in 1996 Yartsev led a team called the Pioneer Squad to the title: due to the departure of leading players to Europe, the backbone of that Spartak was made up of young players, in whose success few believed. Twice recognized as the coach of the year according to the RFU. The RFU expresses its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Georgy Yartsev.

The specialist is known for his work with Spartak, which he led to the gold medals of the Russian Championship (1996), as well as with the Russian national team. Yartsev was twice recognized as the coach of the year according to the RFU.

Marquinhos’ agent called information on speculation about leaving Spartak

Information about the departure of the Brazilian midfielder from the Moscow football club Spartak Marquinhos it’s speculation. The player’s agent told Sport Express. Alexander Samu.

Previously, the Maxbetsport portal reported that Serbian Red Star, led by the former Spartak coach Dejan Stankovicmade an offer to the Moscow club to purchase Marquinhos.

“Stankovic really likes the way Marquinhos plays. Crvena is interested in signing him, but at the moment it’s just speculation. Marquinhos is happy at Spartak and has adapted very well,” said Samu.
