Yezhov: “Orenburg played too confident to be an RPL rookie”

“The wings of the Soviets” midfielder Romano Yezhov commented the strong-willed victory over Orenburg (4: 2) in the 1st round RPL.

It’s always good to win. In my opinion we were ahead in both halves. In the 1st half there was a small imbalance, we missed Orenburg’s attacks. In the second, they rebuilt. But in both times we have created a colossal number of opportunities. We scored four goals, but we should have done a lot more. You won’t get far with this implementation. This component needs to be added.

We have heard that the game we are getting. “Orenburg” somehow sounded too confident for a beginner RPL. We felt our combinations were coming. We didn’t change anything in our game, we just believed that we would score, that the implementation wouldn’t let us down. And so it happened. A very legitimate victory. All goals are a joy for the eyes, somewhere beautiful combinations, somewhere great shots. We should have seen goals like this more often.
