Mirzov’s goal helped Khimki avoid defeat in the opening match of the RPL season 2022/23 against Zenit
Khimki at home played a draw with Zenit in the opening match of the first round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL) of the 2022/23 season.
The meeting, held in Khimki, ended with the score 1:1. The home team responded to Vendel’s goal (17th minute) with an accurate shot by Reziuan Mirzov (85).

The meeting began with a moment of silence in memory of the former coach of the Russian national team and Spartak Georgy Yartsev and the ex-football player of the Red-Whites Alexander Kozlov, who died on Friday.
In the next round, the Blue-White-Blues will host Krylya Sovetov on July 22, while Khimki will play PARI NN in the Moscow region two days later.
