Former general director of Tosno Vyacheslav Matyushenko reacted to the death of ex-Spartak football player Alexander Kozlov.
Presumably, a blood clot broke off at the 29-year-old football player.
– Alexander Kozlov is gone. Did he have heart problems when he played for Tosno?
Nothing has ever come close. We always checked. Twice a year there was a complete examination of the players. There were no problems.
Did he personally complain?
– Not. Never, – quotes Matyushenko’s words “Sport Day after Day”.
Kozlov played for Spartak from 2010 to 2016 and played 28 matches for the capital club, in which he scored 1 goal and gave 2 assists. In Russia, the forward also played for Khimki, Tosno, Fakel and Tyumen. As part of the Russian youth team, he has 8 matches and 3 goals.
